On 1 Feb, #WAM honours you, the heroes fallen and wounded, whose lives have been blown up by the Myanmar military since the coup. And you, for whom 2021 was a continuation of 70+ years of the military’s war of terror. We thank and support you. You put your lives on the line and act in many other courageous ways for change in Burma. With a gendered focus, we are committed to advocating for freedom for all political prisoners, effective humanitarian assistance and the military’s accountability for its crimes against humanity. We believe recognising the NUG, ending impunity and cutting financial support to the military through coordinated international and multi-lateral action will best support Myanmar people in your undying struggle. We stand in solidarity with you to realise the shared vision of an inclusive federal democracy, freedom from fear and dignity for all.
ယနေ့ ဖေဖေါ်ဝါရီလ ၁ ရက်နေ့တွင် စကစမှ အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးကတည်းက ကျဆုံးသွားသော သူရဲကောင်းများ၊ မိမိတို့ဘဝများကိုရင်းပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ဒီမိုကရေစီ အပြောင်းအလဲအတွက် နည်းလမ်းပေါင်းစုံဖြင့် တိုက်ပွဲ၀င်နေကြသော သူရဲကောင်းများအား Women Activists Myanmar (WAM) မှ အထူးဂုဏ်ပြုအပ်ပါသည် ။ မိမိတို့ WAM အနေဖြင့် နိုင်ငံရေး အကျဉ်းသားများအားလုံး လွတ်မြောက်ရေး၊ ထိရောက်သော လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ အကူအညီများပေးနိုင်ရေး၊ လူသားမျိုးနွယ်အပေါ် ကျူးလွန်သည့် ရာဇ၀တ်မှု့များအတွက် စစ်တပ်၏ တာဝန်ခံမှုကို တွန်းအားပေးသည့်ဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များကို ဆထက်တိုးပြီး လုပ်ဆောင်ပါမည်။ National Unity Government (NUG) ကို အသိအမှတ်ပြုခြင်း၊ အပြစ်ပေးခံရခြင်းမှကင်းလွတ်နေမူ့များကို အဆုံးသတ်ခြင်းနှင့် စကစအား ငွေကြေးထောက်ပံ့မှုကို ဖြတ်တောက်ခြင်းသည် မြန်မာပြည်သူများကို အကောင်းဆုံး ပံ့ပိုးပေးနိုင်မည့် နည်းလမ်းများဟု WAM မှ ယုံကြည်ပါသည်။ ထိုအချက်များကို အကောင်အထည်ဖေါ်ရန် နိုင်ငံတကာနှင့် ဘက်ပေါင်းစုံ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ တစိုက်မတ်မတ် ပြုလုပ်သွားမည်ဟု ကတိပြုပါသည်။မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်း လွန်ခဲ့သော နှစ် ၇၀ ကစ၍ လက်ရှိတိုင် ဖြစ်ပွားနေသာ လက်နက်ကိုင်တိုက်ပွဲများ ချုပ်ငြိမ်းရေး၊ စစ်မှန်သော၊ လွတ်လပ်၍တရားမျှတသော၊ တိုင်းရင်းသားလူမျိုးစုအားလုံးပါ၀င်သော ဖယ်ဒရယ်ဒီမိုကရေစီတည်ဆောက်ရေးအတွက် မြန်မာပြည်သူပြည်သားများနှင့်အတူ တညီတညွတ်တည်း ပူးပေါင်းရပ်တည်သွားပါမည်။
